A hip noodle bar featuring pan-Asian noodle dishes that can be customized with various meat and vegetable toppings is coming to Mizner Park. Kapow Noodle Bar, the brainchild of the team behind Dada, Tryst and Delux and the head of the Pizza Fusion chain, is slated to debut in July and may be a prototype for other Kapows around the country. That is, if it’s a really big hit.
If you value quantity over hip, there’s a new all-you-can-eat buffet restaurant that should fill you up without emptying your wallet. It’s Asian Fusion Buffet (10493 Southern Blvd., Royal Palm Beach, 561/792-8883), where Chinese, Japanese and American dishes are served up at rock-bottom prices: $8 0r $9 at lunch and $12 or $14 at dinner. There’s beer, wine, sake and a to go menu too.
