There’s nothing better than to find a fun and laid-back place to stay when you are venturing away from home. For me, it was staying at Universal’s Endless Summer Resort that made my recent visit to the Orlando area with my family to visit the Universal Orlando Resort’s theme parks a truly comfortable and fun one.

Not only is the hotel affordable, but it makes you feel like you are enjoying a truly upscale stay with enough room for your group with their spacious suite room options. The hotel promises, and delivers, the type of service that you would expect at a Universal Orlando Resorts property.

A Spacious and Beach-Themed Escape

There are two towers at Universal’s Summer Resort—Surfside and Dockside—and they both provide tropical vibes and similar, if not the same, well thought-out offerings that promise to make your stay as comfortable as it is special.

During our visit, we had a chance to stay at a suite at Dockside Inn and Suites. As soon as you step into one of the two towers that are part of the Universal Endless Summer Resort property, you’ll be greeted by a homey lobby with soothing décor in hues of blue and soft beige reminiscent of a sandy beach.

Surfside Inn and Suites, which opened in June 2019, was followed by Dockside Inn and Suites with its opening at the end of 2020. Both Surfside and Dockside offer rooms and suites where you can bring your family and feel like you have enough space and privacy. The hotel’s affordability, matched with the fact that it’s spacious and comfortable, make it a no-brainer for those looking to visit with a bigger group.

The hotel’s standard rooms are similarly spacious, and the bedroom suites can fit up to six people. The rooms are decorated with beach-themed décor, from tropical pillows, colors on pillowcases and comforters that pepper in images of everything from palm trees to beach waves.

While staying there, we felt cool and carefree, like we were on a special retreat. We were also happy to have a wooden picnic table just outside, which served as the perfect space for gathering after a day at the parks or exploring the Orlando area.

This hotel proves that it’s been carefully crafted by Loews Hotels & Co., one that makes sure that every one of their properties feels like one that pampers visitors, no matter at what the hotel’s price point might be.

Unbeatable Amenities

The Endless Summer Resort is chock-full of amenities, with many that will thrill those who are there looking to get the most out of their visit, especially to the theme parks. There are buses constantly coming by, making sure guests get to the park. Plus, guests get Early Park Admission, which we used to make sure we could get on every ride that we could enjoy during our visit.

My parents, who accompanied me on this special experience, had not been to Universal Orlando Resort for a long time. Being able to get into the parks early and staying in such a roomy suite made us feel even more welcome and it gave us the chance to enjoy everything even more. This included the fact that we could visit City Walk via bus, where entertainment and dining options are plenty.

Other amenities include large dining halls with quick service and takeout food such as Dockside’s Pier Eight; a handy lobby-located Starbucks to help wake you up in the morning; an in-house Universal Orlando Resort official merchandise store for those much-needed souvenirs; an expansive pool; the cozy and colorful Sunset Lounge in the lobby; a gym; and many more options for relaxation and family entertainment.

A place where affordability meets the beauty of a laid-back and classy stay, Universal’s Endless Summer Resort will have you feeling pleased until the end of your visit. You just might leave planning that second trip.
