I attended the Up-Rooted pop up dinner at Palm Beach Meats this past Saturday, and it was a brilliant culinary experience. Chef James Cruz, formally of Manhattan’s Michelin-starred Le Bernardin, and Palm Beach Meats chef Emerson Frisbie teamed up to create a six-course locally sourced dinner with wine pairings that delighted my palate and awakened my senses. My favorite was a tie between the beech mushrooms wrapped in a paper-thin cut of wagyu with a hint of mint and the lamb with aubergine compote and silky kefir.

The duo’s next pop up is happening this Friday and Saturday. Choose from either the six-course Short Story dinner on Friday or the 12-course Long Story dinner on Saturday. Wine pairings are available for both experiences for an additional $40. Tickets are available here: https://www.exploretock.com/uprootedkitchen.

The dinners are limited to only 12 guests, so get your tickets before they sell out and let me know how your experience was in the comments below.
