Discover the Palm Beaches is hosting the 33rd Annual Providencia Award, and the public can vote for their favorite of three finalists in Palm Beach County: Busch Wildlife Sanctuary, Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts and The Boca Raton.
Voting runs through April 18 here, with the finalists being “local business, organization, or individual who has demonstrated an extraordinary contribution to the vitality and prosperity of The Palm Beaches as a desirable tourist destination.”
- Busch Wildlife Sanctuary: South Florida’s largest wildlife rehabilitation and environmental education center, giving a home to permanently injured or impaired owls, foxes, panthers, river otters, black bears and other native species. The sanctuary also hosts educational programs, guided tours, and interactive exhibits.
- Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts: The cultural center hosts hundreds of performances each season, ranging from Broadway shows to plays, operas, comedy shows, and other experiences for a range of tastes and ages.
- The Boca Raton: On the heels of its centennial in 2026, the resort is comprised of five hotels (Cloister, Yacht Club, Beach Club, Tower and Bungalows) and more than 15 restaurants and bars, as well as a private beach, Spa Palmera, an 18-hole golf course, a full-service marina, Racquet Club and more.
The winner of the Providencia Award will be announced on May 9 during Discover the Palm Beaches’ Travel Rally Day celebration in West Palm Beach.
