Together we sure get a lot accomplished in this community. Helen Keller once said “Alone we can do so little; together, we can do so much” and that’s just what Boca Raton is all about. We gather. We give. We celebrate. With that in mind, here’s part two of your spring roundup of Boca society events!

YMCA INSPIRATION BREAKFAST

In a morning filled with motivation and community spirit, FOX Sports veteran reporter Erin Andrews took center stage on March 6 as the keynote speaker at the YMCA of South Palm Beach County’s annual Inspiration Breakfast. More than $500,000 was raised thanks to the hundreds of supporters in attendance. Proceeds from the event help fund scholarships for individuals and families to participate in Y programs and will specifically help send local children to summer camp. Pro Football Hall of Famer and current FAU Executive Director of Player Engagement Cris Carter helped kick off the YMCA Inspiration Breakfast season at a VIP reception. Carter shared stories of his childhood and YMCA ties, and his collegiate and pro career with the Minnesota Vikings, Philadelphia Eagles and Miami Dolphins.
