Sip… shop… and meet Alvin Valley, coined ‘The King of Pants’ by the New York Times, on Thursday, March 31, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., at the Boca Raton Historical Society for a very stylish Sample Sale. Valley has created a modern yet chic lifestyle brand that is coveted by celebrities, socialites, and women who love to look polished with fabulous strokes of glamour. The Alvin Valley woman is “a classic woman with a sexy twist. She’s not fussy and has her own personal sense of fashion.”
When Valley is not at his boutiques in Palm Beach and the Hamptons, he’s most likely on a plane. So, yes, it’s a very special occasion to welcome Valley to Boca Raton. The designer will be on hand to lend styling guidance and mingle with guests. Take it from me, his bigger than life personality will have you falling in love with both him and his brand.
According to Valley, the Sample Sale will showcase “amazing pieces that were missed due to the pandemic. Expect to shop great classic pants, beautiful tailored jackets, evening gowns and silk blouses.”
At the same time, guests will have the opportunity to visit The Schmidt Boca Raton History Museum and its new interactive exhibits. A portion of sales proceeds will benefit the nonprofit, whose mission is to collect, preserve, and present information and artifacts relevant to the past and evolving history of Boca Raton, and to maintain a visible role in education and advocacy of historic preservation in the community. There is truly no better way to shop when you’re also giving back to the community.
If you’re unable to attend Thursday’s kickoff event, you’re welcome to shop the Sample Sale on April 1 and April 2 during museum hours from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
