Tanya Taylor, known for her artistic hand-painted prints transformed into easy to wear must-have clothing, is coming to The Colony Hotel for a two-day pop-up. Even better yet, you’re invited to see first-hand the newest Resort Collection in an iconic Palm Beach setting.
This Resort Collection continues to showcase Taylor’s talent of artfully playing with color and creating ethereal yet bold prints. Some standout pieces include dresses that evoke casual easy elegance, perfect for a seamless day to night shift. The collection also offers a beautiful selection of crisp white tops with lovely details and chic light blazers with a twist that pair nicely with matching shorts.
Despite being well into the hectic holiday season, resort wear is season-less when living in the year-round South Florida warmth. As the Tanya Taylor team gets ready for the brand’s first ever pop-up in Palm Beach, we asked the designer herself to share some extra insights into the Resort Collection.
What was the inspiration behind this Resort Collection?
We were inspired by that freeing sense of escapism when you’re on a relaxing tropical vacation. You’ll see it in the beautiful painterly prints in tropical motifs to bold color-blocking in seasonal hues of boysenberry, avocado, and zest across the collection.
What can shoppers expect to find at The Colony pop-up?
It’s our first pop-up in Palm Beach, and we’re so excited to host it at The Colony where our artful hand-painted prints will be on full display. We pay a lot of attention to details and take twists on wardrobe staples, and it’s always special to speak about them in person. My team and I treasure these moments when we get to travel to other cities to meet our customers and spend one-on-one time with them putting looks together.
What are some of your favorite pieces from the collection?
Our Arabeth dress is a dramatic floral print taffeta gown in our beautiful hand-painted Orchid Garden print that is tropical glamour at its best. Button-up shirting like our Calandra Embroidered Top, when paired with our Nikiya shorts, is that perfect combination of fun and flirty. The Nami dress has a statement silhouette and color but still feels effortless.
