Michelin Bib Gourmand-awarded Aioli is partnering with Boca Raton’s very own Mahj on the Beach to host monthly classes where guests can learn more about and play mahjong.
Aioli will welcome guests with drinks, charcuterie and an aioli butter bar complete with the bakery’s famous sourdough. The first classes, two 101 introductory courses to mahjong, will be hosted on March 31 and April 30. Majh on the Beach Founder Kari Long will teach beginners how the game is set up as well as rules and strategies of American Mahjong. In April, the National Mah Jongg League will release a new card and on April 16 Long will lead a class on how players can incorporate it into their games.
Classes will take place from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at Aioli in West Palm Beach. Tickets are $75 per person and can be purchased at the bottom of the page linked here. To learn more about Mahj on the Beach, click here.
