Want to go all out for America’s 250th birthday? Palm Beach County has you covered with Fourth of July celebrations ranging from food festivals and firework shows to live performances.

Boca Raton

Fabulous Fourth of July Celebration

Start the day off at 7:15 a.m. with the Firecracker 5K run at Florida Atlantic University (registration fee of $40), with attendees receiving a shirt, finisher medal, and post-race event snacks. Next, play in the Liberty Cup Racket Tournament, with a choice of either pickleball at Patch Reef Paddle and Racket Club (from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.) or tennis at The Racket Center (from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.). In the afternoon, head to Sugar Sand Park for a block party featuring yard games, food trucks, and a DJ. The Wick Theatre

Bring your musical spirit for a two-part all-American event. The festivities kick off with a picnic from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., followed by the main event, a tribute performance to The Rat Pack at 2 p.m. The full patriotic experience (picnic and performance) costs $170–$180, with individual activities going for $100 each. Sunset Cove Amphitheater

Featuring a performance from the Viva Band, the annual 4th of July Fireworks Show and Concert in the Boca amphitheater opens gates at 5:30 p.m., with fireworks at 9 p.m. Admission is free and more information can be viewed here.

National and State Parks  

To celebrate Independence Day weekend, national and state parks such as Arthur R. Marshall Loxahatchee National Park and John D. MacArthur Beach State Park will have free entry from July 3 to 5.

West Palm Beach

One Epic Fourth on Flagler

The City of West Palm Beach is marking the nation’s 250th in a big way with the “One Epic Fourth on Flagler.” Taking place on July 4, from 5 to 10 p.m., the event will span Flagler Drive from Banyan Boulevard to Fern Street and feature multiple stages with live music, family-friendly activities, and a wide variety of food and beverage options. New this year will be a colorful laser show by The Florida Crystals synchronized with an 18-minute fireworks display over the Intracoastal Waterway. BillBone 5K

The sixth edition of the BillBone marathon will take place at 7 p.m. near Post Park (315 S. Flagler Dr.), with all proceeds benefiting the Wounded Veteran Relief Fund. You can register here.

Spruzzo at The Ben West Palm

Delray Beach

Delray’s Fourth of July celebration has something for everyone. The morning is marked by the 4th-annual Volleyball Tournament at the south end of the municipal beach across from Casurina Road (from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.). Running concurrently are the snorkeling and scuba dive tours of the S.S. Inchulva, famously known as the “Delray Wreck.” Alternatively, children can go to a sand sculpting contest sponsored by the Delray Beach Rotary and Kiwanis Clubs. The main event begins at 5 p.m. at the main stage of East Atlantic Avenue and A1A with the opening of the 1976 Bicentennial Time Capsule. Shortly after, the “Let’s Groove Tonight” show will commence, a loving tribute to Earth, Wind and Fire. Boynton Beach is offering a front-row seat to a red, white, and blue day with a waterfront view! The free carnival event at Intracoastal Park will run from 4 to 9 p.m. and feature rides, family friendly games, and even a 45-foot ferris wheel!
