Bye, bye bras!
If you are looking to add a little wiggle room to your top drawer, consider editing your intimates for a great cause benefiting women in need.
Soma Intimates is holding their fifth bi-annual “Giving is Beautiful” donation event now through Sunday, August 12. Bring a new or gently worn brasserie to any Soma store nationwide to participate.
Twice a year, thousands of bras are collected and distributed to the National Network to End Domestic Violence (NNEDV). The NNEDV then distributes the bras to women’s shelters. Bras remain one of the most needed, and least accessible, clothing items by women.
Since the drive launched in July 2010, more than 265,000 bras have been collected for this cause.
The NNEDV is a 501(c)(3) organization provided a voice for domestic and sexual violence victims and their allies.
