Before leaving every night, including weekends and holidays, the team at Boca Nursing Services makes sure the phones lines are forwarded – but not to an answering service. Calls are forwarded to the cell phone of founder and owner Rose Glamoclija or her director of nursing.
“I made a commitment when I started that I would be available when people needed me,” says Glamoclija, a registered nurse, who started her business almost 17 years ago after discovering a need for concierge nursing services provided by an attentive and well-trained staff. “I put people’s needs first, and when you do that the business falls into place.”
With a sharp attention to detail, Glamoclija takes a personal interest in all of her clients, making it a point to get to know each one of them. She also personally selects all of the caregivers on her team – whether they are care managers, RNs, LPNs, therapists or aides – to ensure they provide the personal and individualized service that best meets the needs of her clients and their families.
“For us, it’s the personal touch that makes the difference,” she says.
