Question: How many Duffy’s Sports Grill locations in Palm Beach County will soon offer a trivia night with a 90s pop culture theme?
Answer: Three. Plus one in Martin County.
Yes, the trivia craze will pop up on Aug. 8 from 7 to 9 p.m. at 721 Village Blvd., West Palm Beach; 11935 Southern Blvd., Royal Palm Beach; and from 8 to 10 p.m. at 4746 N. Congress Ave., Boynton Beach. If you head north, the Duffy’s at 1 SW Osceola St., Stuart, will also host trivia night from 7 to 9 p.m.
In all of these venues, you can win prizes and try the new Dog Days of Summer menu, which includes a lobster roll (pictured). Of course, the wings and two-for-one happy hour are also available.
Out and about at 9 p.m.? Here’s news for you
It’s officially a thing. The late-night happy hour has apparently taken off, with some restaurants focusing on “industry happy hours.” That means other restaurant employees gathering to mingle and trade war stories late into the night. The food and drinks are discounted during these times, just as they are earlier in the day.
The latest newcomer to this group is Grato in West Palm Beach, where you can now get Chef Clay Conley’s pizzas for $10, among other items, Sunday-Thursday from 9 p.m. to 10 p.m., and Friday-Saturday from 10 p.m. to 11 p.m. Grato also has $7 tap wines and wells (well drinks), $4 drafts beers and $9 signature cocktails.
This joins a late-night happy hour roundup that includes The Cooper, Calaveras Cantina, El Camino, Tap 42, The Yard House and I’m sure quite a few more. Y’all tell me all about it – I’m a fixture on the early happy hour circuit and nodding over my limoncello when the late nights start!
