If you’re looking for a few summertime reasons to hop on the Brightline this season, here are two delectable ones.
Taste of the Track
Gulfstream Park has launched this summer culinary series that invites guests to come enjoy its thoroughbred horse racing while savoring delicious bites and sips. Every month will feature a different cuisine, starting with burgers and brews on July 29. There will be a variety of sliders—from bison to turkey—paired with beers from local breweries. On Aug. 26, tequila lovers will come together to sip on the Mexican spirit and indulge in Latin-inspired dishes. Finally, on September 23, the park hosts a bourbon and barbecue tasting with premium bourbons and whiskeys available and paired with southern-style fare.
Tickets are $50 for general admission and $75 for VIP, including early access to the event, located at The Flamingo Room on the third floor.

Neya Debuts Summer Menu

If you’re craving Israeli cuisine, head over to this modern Surfside kitchen. Its summer menu boasts refreshing selections like yellowtail sashimi with watermelon gazpacho and cucumber and an organic baby beets salad with creamy yogurt. The modern Israeli menu (that’s also certified Kosher) is made for sharing and is sprinkled with Mediterranean inspirations like its rich hummus and dates served with brie and crème fraiche. Israeli-born chef Siman Tov leads his team and delivers creative gourmet dishes that are expertly executed. And its contemporary space will make you feel like you’ve been transplanted to a trendy—but much calmer—Wynwood restaurant.
