Tomorrow, Wednesday, Dec. 20, head over to Tropical BBQ Market for one of chef Rick Mace’s famous mojo pulled pork sandwiches. He’s teamed up with the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) for a month-long round-up campaign with the proceeds going to support NAMI’s goal to raise awareness for mental illness. The sandwiches, complimentary tomorrow from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. with any 99 cent donation or greater, are the kickoff to the fundraising campaign that runs to Jan. 20, the date of Tropical’s 2nd annual Smoke & Sunshine event. Proceeds from that event will also benefit NAMI.
