Tucked just far enough from the busier tourist pockets, the oceanfront retreat at Beach House Fort Lauderdale offers a sense of calm that feels intentional, almost protective.

Following a top-to-bottom renovation and rebrand, Beach House Fort Lauderdale shines as an all-suite destination that balances modern coastal elegance with true comfort.

I arrived with my best friend, Sharma, both of us craving a reset before diving back into busy schedules and long to-do lists. From the moment we stepped into our expansive Ocean View Suite, the stress of the past few weeks began to fade. The space felt open and soothing, designed to blur the line between indoors and out, making it feel as breezy as it is elegant and expansive.

Floor-to-ceiling windows framed the Atlantic and the private balcony quickly became our sanctuary, a place that’s perfect for coffee in the morning as the sun rises, quiet conversations in the afternoon, and wine in the evening as the waves rolled in and the breeze carried the scent of salt and sea air.

Pools, Cabanas & Easygoing Days

At the hotel, there’s a calm rhythm by the resort’s outdoor pools, where plush loungers, swaying palms, and relaxed cabanas created an atmosphere that made time feel optional. Whether you decide to float between dips, reading poolside, or simply people-watching with cold drinks in hand, there is no pressure to be anywhere else.

Beyond the pool, the resort offers thoughtful extras that enhance the experience without overwhelming it. Bikes make it easy to cruise along the shoreline, beachfront yoga provides a grounding way to start the morning, and the full beach club experience turns a simple day by the ocean into something seamless and indulgent.

It’s the kind of place where doing less somehow feels like doing exactly what you’re supposed to be doing, and its mostly kicking back, relaxing and taking a moment for yourself, one that is always needed and at times forgotten.

Dining: Beachfront Bites at S3

Dining at Beach House Fort Lauderdale is an experience woven naturally into the flow of the day, beginning with S3, the lively beachfront restaurant just steps from the sand.

Known for its standout happy hour, S3 quickly became one of our favorite spots. We found ourselves there as the afternoon sun softened, sampling creative small plates and refreshing cocktails while watching the ocean stretch endlessly in front of us. The energy at S3 strikes that perfect balance, it’s social but not chaotic, relaxed yet polished.

Rooftop Cocktails at Nubé: Sunset, Elevated

As the day gave way to evening, we headed up to Nubé, the only rooftop bar on Fort Lauderdale Beach, and one of its most memorable spots.

Instantly recognizable thanks to its iconic peace sculpture, Nubé offers panoramic views that feel cinematic without ever trying too hard. One side opens to endless views and the other to the city skyline. We timed our visit perfectly for golden hour, and it was the perfect decision, as we watched the sunset’s colors dip beyond the coastline.

The cocktails are beautifully crafted, and they are balanced, refreshing, and meant to be savored slowly. Each sip felt like a small celebration, paired perfectly with the sweeping views and gentle ocean breeze.

There’s an undeniable energy at Nubé that makes it ideal for both casual drinks and special occasions. Long after the sun disappeared, we found ourselves lingering, soaking in the moment and wishing the evening would slow down just a bit more.

The Spa: A Moment to Truly Pause

One of the most restorative moments of the stay came at the spa, a serene oasis designed to quiet both body and mind.

Stepping inside felt like entering a different world, a place featuring soft lighting, calming scents, and an immediate sense of peace. I opted for the Essential Facial, a deeply refreshing treatment that left my skin glowing and my mind noticeably lighter.

By the time I left, the noise of daily life felt distant, replaced by a sense of calm that stayed long after the appointment ended.

The Breezy Takeaway

Between the sweeping ocean views, thoughtfully designed suites, effortless pool days, elevated dining experiences, rooftop magic at Nubé, and truly restorative spa moments, Beach House Fort Lauderdale delivers the kind of escape that feels both indulgent and grounding.
