Blackbird Modern Asian Launches New Happy Hour
Don’t worry about the Sunday scaries, you can now look forward to a boozy Monday happy hour thanks to Jupiter hotspot Blackbird Modern Asian. The new (and quite lengthy) Monday happy hour features half-off cocktails, sake, wine and beer from 4 p.m. to close. Guests can look forward to its signature Asian-style cocktails with refreshing ingredients like lemongrass and Thai basil. There are also plenty of bites to nosh on for under $10, like the vegetable spring rolls and brisket bao buns.

Taverna Opa in Delray Closes
Another one bites the dust. Atlantic Avenue’s Taverna Opa has closed after nine years. The family-owned restaurant posted on its social media channels at the end of last month that the longtime Greek eatery was forced to close its doors due to an unsuccessful lease negotiation. There is a light at the end of the tunnel; if you’re still looking to get your Greek fix, its sister restaurant Taverna Kyma on Federal Highway is still open.
