If you’re looking for a way to help local Boca residents this Thanksgiving season, Boca Helping Hands is hosting its 19th annual Thanksgiving Box Brigade. Each family will receive a turkey and a box of ingredients for their holiday meal. Your $29.72 donation gives one family a Thanksgiving box of treats. Of course, you can always donate more boxes. The nonprofit aims to serve 3,500 families this year at five distribution locations in two days. Another way to help is to pick up five empty boxes from the organization, fill them with designated items, and then drop them off at their main facility in Boca before Monday, Nov. 13.
