Yesterday Boca went on (rather than off) the rails with its brand spanking new Brightline station. This station at 101 N.W. Fourth St. in downtown Boca just north of Palmetto Park Road will link up with ones in West Palm, Aventura (that one opens today), Fort Lauderdale and Miami, and will be on the eventual circuit to Orlando, slated to open next year.
This much-anticipated station opening was attended by city officials and dignitaries and marks a bold new step in connectivity between Boca Raton and other major South Florida cities.
Brightline is the only provider of modern, eco-friendly, high-speed rail service in America and recognized by Fast Company as one of the most innovative companies in travel, offering a “guest-first experience designed to reinvent train travel and take cars off the road.” Brightline plans to bring its service to additional congested corridors across the country that are too close to fly and too long to drive, with immediate plans to connect Las Vegas to Southern California.
