It’s time for beer and brats and sauerkraut and the Chicken Dance. Well, we’re in for the food, at least. Here are local top spots to celebrate:

American German Club of the Palm Beaches

This annual celebration on the second and third weekends in October means bratwurst, schnitzel, lots and lots of brews, liquor, schnapps and foot-stomping, skirt-swinging folk dancing. Starts Oct. 12 through Oct. 21. 5111 Lantana Road, Lake Worth; americangermanclub.org

Biergarten Boca Raton

The celebration here usually lasts until around Halloween, and why not? This restaurant is an annual big-time participant in Oktoberfest, and that has included beer sampling, a pig roast, battle of the bands, costume contest and more. 309 Via De Palmas #90, Boca Raton; biergartenboca.com

Butcher Shop

Friday, Saturday and Sunday through Oct. 14 is the SEcond Annual Oktoberfest at Butcher Shop! Menu specials include veal schnitzel with spaetzle ($20), beer-braised pork shank with mashed potato and sauerkraut ($24), sausage platter ($15), large Bavarian pretzel ($10), beer bratwurst with fries ($12) and apple strudel ($9). Well-behaved dogs are also welcome to enjoy the backyard with guests. 209 Sixth St., West Palm Beach, Florida; 561/812-2336; butchershopbeergarden.com

Yard House

Through Oct. 28, specials on beers and German-inspired food will fill you up. On the Oktoberfest menu are pretzels, a currywurst poutine, double pork burger, chicken schnitzel and limited-production “steins of the week” for sale. You can also enter a contest to win a trip to Oktoberfest 2019 in Germany. All locations, yardhouse.com
