The South Florida Fairgrounds welcomes Dessert Wars to town! Touting itself as the largest dessert festival in the country, it is taking place tomorrow, Sept. 17, and will host more than 50 dessert vendors competing for the sought-after title of Dessert Champion. If you eat your dinner in anticipation of the end for that tempting sweet bite of dessert, then this event is for you. Cupcakes, ice cream, cookies and so much more will be available for sampling, and you will get to cast your vote and decide who wins the war.
Tickets: VIP $65 (50 sample tickets and early admission at 3 p.m.); General $45 (30 sample tickets and admission at 4 p.m.)
