Get dressed up for Halloween and join the folks at Drop in Surf Shop, in Delray Beach, for the first Halloween Paddle Out, stand up paddle (SUP) event.
That’s Saturday, October 29, 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the north end of Delray’s beach. Bring your paddle board if you have one. Drop in Surf Shop also has boards for rent, while they last.
Your $25 registration fee includes an event t-shirt, Drop in hat and registration into all contests that afternoon, including SUP relay races and a Halloween costume contest.
The event is promoted by the Drop in Surf Shop as a fun day for beachgoers, surfers and paddle boarders to come out dressed up and to have a good time.
There is no cost to hang out on the beach, dressed in costume (or not).
For more or to sign up, go to www.thedropinsurfshop.com or visit the local board shop at 410 NE 4th St., Delray Beach. The shop also has a Facebook page with information. If spots or boards are sold out, call the Drop in Surf Shop at 561-865-6235 to be put on our waiting list.
