For the 26th year, Hoffman’s Winter Wonderland has opened to kick off the holiday season. Get in the spirit in Greenacres (5190 Lake Worth Road) with the 75,000 lights, displays, giant Christmas tree, live entertainment, photos with Mr. and Mrs. Santa… oh – and Hoffman’s goodies, which means assorted chocolate, caramel apples and ice cream. Open nightly from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. (closed only on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day). Loving those holiday calories!
To-go gets a kick with new Farmer’s Table Express
Out doing some hard shopping and don’t feel like cooking when you get home? I hear you. If you’re in Boca Raton, one of your solutions is to stop at Farmer’s Table (1950 Glades Road; 561/409-2727) and check out the new line of Farmer’s Table Express. It includes ready-to-go sandwiches, salads, snacks, sauces, dressings, juices and vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options. Hours are 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily; online ordering available. Sounds like a plan to me.
