Shoppers inside Town Center at Boca Raton this Friday should save room for dessert.
That’s because Passion for Pastry, located in the Bloomingdale’s wing of the mall, is celebrating the British Royal Wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton by borrowing a line from the French — let them eat cake!
Alethea Hickman, Passion for Pastry’s executive chef, has created a 5-foot-tall edible ode to the royal couple, a mouthwatering chiffon cake with white cream, gold-accented English roses and chocolate mousse layers. This regal creation will be on display outside the store from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., surrounded by “elegant wedding decor.”
Shoppers are invited to enjoy a complimentary slice of the chiffon cake — and check out the other sweet treats inside Passion for Pastry.
