This week marks the grand opening of the MacKenzie-Childs, the newest addition to Worth Avenue.
The best selling luxury-goods brand has been available to shoppers through Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue, but has now found a home in Palm Beach.
To celebrate the grand debut, MacKenzie-Childs held a cocktail party on Tuesday night. Guests were able to browse and shop the newest spring collections of garden and home decor, tabletop items and upholstered furniture.
The store is known for their delightful colors, checkered patterns, bright stripes and hand-painted designs.
Creative director Rebecca Proctor was available to meet with the public to discuss her inspiration behind the new line, and 10 percent of the evening’s proceeds were donated to the American Lung Association.
Store representatives are especially excited to debut their beautiful new Greenhouse Collection. The outdoor furniture was inspired by the “glorious hues of summer” and includes acrylic roses and leaves, bright pink and orange, and black and white boxing.
MacKenzie-Childs was founded in 1983 by two artists. The Worth Avenue shop marks the fourth United States opening.
