Summer is officially here so take advantage of a few spots around town that have put together thoughtful (and affordable) prix-fixe menus just for you.

This summer menu is available all week long and includes a two-course menu for $59. Choices range from Street Corn Caesar Salad and Rock Shrimp & Lobster “Hoppin” John Risotto to Stuffed Chicken and Petite Filet Mignon. Desserts are an additional $7, and a wine pairing is available for $20.

Almond Palm Beach

The three-course lunch menu here welcomes you in to relax. Extended lunches are encouraged here. The $25 prix-fixe menu includes Brussels Sprouts Hot and Cold and Burrata with eggplant zaalouk followed by entrées like Vietnamese Chicken Salad with Napa cabbage or Tacos of the Day. Dessert options include a selection of ice creams and sorbets. It will also be serving a dinner prix-fixe menu for $45 that includes similar appetizers but entrées like Banana Leaf Steamed Mahi with carrot coconut curry or Roast Chicken with crushed potatoes.

Avalon Steak & Seafood

The “Taste of Avalon” menu at the Atlantic Avenue steakhouse includes a three-course meal with choices like the Avalon Caesar, Pork Belly “Bánh Mì” and the Angry Lobster Tagliatelle for appetizers followed by the Organic Roasted Chicken, 7 oz. NY Strip or Faroe Island Salmon for entrées. And make sure to save room for dessert with options like the Flourless Chocolate Torte or NY Cheesecake. The $65 per person menu is available Monday – Thursday from 5-7 p.m. and Sundays from 5-9 p.m.
