Saks Fifth Avenue at Town Center kicked off its Key to the Cure shopping weekend to benefit women’s cancer charities Thursday night with a well-attended in-store event that featured culinary treats, cocktails and much more.
The event, in conjunction with Boca Raton Regional Hospital and co-sponsored by Boca Raton magazine, featured specially prepared dishes from The Capital Grille, Truluck’s, Legal Sea Foods, III Forks, Absinthe, Cafe Ala Carte and others.
Through Sunday, Oct. 24, Saks Fifth Avenue stores throughout the country will donate 2 percent of their sales-up to $500,000-to local and national women’s cancer charities. Saks also will make a donation of $375,000 to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
