Spinning up some big city glitz ‘n’ glam in Mizner Park is Spin Ultra Lounge(346 Plaza Real, 561/361-3999), a $4.7 million nitelife spot from the folks behind such high-profile clubs as Crobar NY, Pangaea and Provocateur.
The more than 6,000-square-foot, Moroccan design-inspired space features a stage, dance pit, DJ booth, day beds, three bars (one indoor-outdoor), a video wall, LED walls and enough bells and whistles to keep even attention deficit disorder suffers on point.
Chef of the venture is Jason Feinberg, late of Miami’s highly regarded Barton G. His moderately priced small plates menu includes such goodies as Wagyu sliders with smoky mayo and house-made pickles; chicken, artichoke, goat cheese and lemon confit flatbread; potato skins filled with Boursin cheese and caviar; and beignets with Kahlua mousse.
Of course, there’s a roster of mixological cocktails and shots, from an Ice Cream Sundae (Absolut vanilla vodka, crème de cacao, Godiva White and chocolate liqueur) to the American Pie (a shot of Goldschlager, Apple Pucker and pineapple juice). That should leave your head spinning.
