Last week’s Takeout Tuesday was such a success for restaurants that it’s going to continue each week for a while. There’s a new Facebook group – The Socially Distanced Supper Club – that highlights restaurants each day with great meal deals. There are Boca Raton/Deerfield chapters, and Jupiter and Fort Lauderdale chapters are starting up. 

TooJay’s is starting a grocery to-go service. The Fresh Catch Seafood Kitchen mobile site has opened with all kinds of seafood, which they will also prepare on site if requested. Sandy James Fine Food & Productions has weekly meal specials. And on and on …

  • Rose’s Daughter, Delray Beach: Pre-order a meal for Friday pick-up — $72 per couple, includes a bottle of wine, an amuse bouche, Caesar salad, warm bread, choice of entrée (short rib pappardelle, shrimp scampi, chicken Milanese, veggie/ricotta pizza) and choice of dessert (cannoli, tiramisu).
