Cannabidiols are all the rage, and we are going to see more CBD-infused drinks and food as the year moves along.

Tap 42 hosted a CBD cocktail tasting event in February, and the Gin ‘N Chronic was the winner—you have to love the name of the new drink, now on all South Florida Tap 42 cocktail menus.

It’s a concoction of Tanqueray gin, handcrafted tonic syrup, orange slice, peppercorns, and butterfly pea tea CBD infusion. CBD is a part of the cannabis plant, but it won’t get you high like its cousin, THC.

Tap 42’s mixologist Paige Nast concocted a few other tastes for the menu, too, including:

Mango Margarita (Fort Lauderdale only]: Fresh mango, Cazadores Blanco, Orange Liqueur, and lime.

Watermelon Spritz: Fresh watermelon, Ketel One, Aperol, lemon, basil syrup, and soda.

Don’t Be a Prick: Casa Noble Blanco, Prickly Pear, Orange Liqueur, basil syrup and lime.

Hangover Cure Shot: CBD-infused Butterfly Pea Tea, Absolut, peach, and lemon.

You can also add Pure Relief’s Cannabidoil (CBD)—THC-free from natural hemp plants—to any cocktail for $4.

Wine Spectator brings annual Grand Tour to Miami

It’s been a while (maybe a month or two?) since we could taste dozens of great wines in the same place, so it’s time to pony up for Wine Spectator’s Grand Tour at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach on May 10.

Featuring wines rated at 90 points or higher by Wine Spectator’s editors, you can sip, taste and go back for more, along with meeting winemakers and eating some grand food. Plus a souvenir Riedel wine glass. Starting at 6 p.m., tickets for general admission are $200; VIP tickets are $325. Buy tickets here.
