In its 17th year, Miami Spice starts up again on Aug. 1, offering two months of prix-fixe lunch/brunches for $23 per person and dinners for $39 per person. Prices include appetizer, entrée and dessert; alcohol, tax, tip and service charges are excluded.
If you haven’t taken a trip to Miami for a meal, now’s the time to do it. No, it’s not that far away, and yes, it’s totally worth it. And now we have Brightline, which makes getting there and back home a lot easier.
For instance, the Habitat Miami Beach venue, where Chef Jose Mendin creates the Japanese Amberjack dish (pictured above), will have Miami Spice prix-fixe meals for lunch Monday-Saturday and dinner Monday-Thursday and Sunday.
There are hundreds of restaurants participating in all the great Miami-Dade eating areas: Miami Beach, Bal Harbour, Brickell, Coconut Grove, Coral Gables, Doral, downtown Miami, South Miami, Sunny Isles and Wynwood.
Be sure to make a reservation, because all the locals know this is a great time to eat out, so you’ll see them there, too.
