Free Dining Plan Deal: Families that book a five-night/six-day “Magic Your Way” room and ticket package at select Disney resorts are eligible for a free Disney Dining Plan that, depending on your choice of lodging, could result in savings of nearly $1,000. The Dining Plan, which encompasses some 100 Disney World restaurants, typically includes (per night) one table-service meal, one quick-service meal, one snack and one refillable drink mug. If, for example, a family of four stays at one of Disney’s moderately priced resorts ($93 per person, per day), the free Dining Plan would result in a savings of $919. Book this offer by July 31; valid for most nights from Sept. 2 through Sept. 25.
Resort Discounts: Book rooms at Disney resorts between Aug. 15 and Sept. 28 and save, depending on the resort, between 15 percent and 30 percent on nightly rates.

Florida Resident Deals: Residents of the Sunshine State can save up to 40 percent on their Universal experience by staying at one of the three on-site hotels—Loews Royal Pacific Resort, Hard Rock Hotel or Loews Portofino Bay Hotel. As a bonus, resort guests receive free Express unlimited ride access to both Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios. Through Sept. 2, Florida resident resort guests also can take advantage of early park admission (one hour before the park opens).
