True Vegan has closed its Atlantic Avenue location and announced via social media they will be relocating to a new space in West Palm Beach.

The restaurant had its soft opening in November.

The announcement was made on the restaurant’s Instagram page last week. In its farewell post, True Vegan said, “We’ve learned & gained a lot & are excited for the future tbh,” and “This move will allow us to better serve our customers & operate as a family business.”

In the comments, an Instagram user alleges that the staff was given inadequate notice.

“they found out today in a text message. And that was after other employees were asking what was going on after showing up to locked doors,” one commenter wrote. True Vegan’s account responded: “We communicated with all our employees through our normal channels. The situation was challenging & unforeseen , & we had to do our best in short time span. (sic)”

In our review of True Vegan in the May/June issue of Boca magazine, our food critic said, “True Vegan delivered a surprising journey through chef Rahein Jones’ culinary creations.”

The new True Vegan location will be 815 Belvedere Road in West Palm Beach. It’s expected to open this summer and will have onsite parking.
