This Friday and Saturday evening from 5 to 10 p.m., downtown Delray Beach is the place to be. A whopping 24 restaurants will be serving up food and drink pairings (wine, beer, cocktails) from around the world at Tastemakers of Delray Beach. That’s a lot of food and drink, and the cost of getting a passport to the event is only $25! You even get a booklet full of discounts and other offers from participating restaurants that is good through September 30. Get your passport before they run out at any of the restaurants. They are listed here. Find out more about the event here.

Also, just two weeks away is The Boys of Summer event, which features local celebrity chefs Oliver Saucy (of Café Max©), Andy Trousdale (of Le Bistro), Carlos Fernandez (of Hi Life Café©) and Allen Susser (of Chef Allen’s™). They will be giving cooking demonstrations on Wednesday, August 25 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at Florida Builder Appliances’ Pompano Showroom, located at 1742 W. Atlantic Blvd in Pompano Beach. You’ll sample the food the chefs prepare while sipping on summer wine selections. The best part is it’s for a good cause: all of the proceeds will be donated to a local charity that feeds people in need! Tickets are just $20 per person, but only a limited number are available, so be sure to secure yours by calling 954/977-6407 or visiting feedingsouthflorida.org.
