In the November/December issue of Boca magazine we highlighted the great work that local charity, The Lord’s Place, does for the homeless community in Palm Beach County. As we’re in a season of thanks and giving, we’re happy to share ways that we can help The Lord’s Place with their holiday wishlist for clients, and items they need all year round:

  • Laundry basket filled with full-sized toiletries and bed linens, bath towels, washcloths, and bed pillows
  • Travel and full sizes of shampoo, bar soap, men’s and women’s razors, shaving cream, deodorant, feminine hygiene products, sunscreen
  • NEW socks and underwear (all sizes)
  • Gift cards in amounts from $10 to $25 from Walgreens, CVS, Walmart, Burger King, Taco Bell, Dunkin’ Donuts, Publix , gas cards, etc.
  • Gift certificates for local and chain restaurants and experiences such as movies, miniature golf, bowling, pottery painting, etc.
  • Bicycles for adults and children
  • Educational toys and board games for ages K-8
  • School Supplies
  • Sports items such as balls, jump ropes, hula-hoops, etc.

Many of The Lord’s Place’s campuses have gardens, providing a therapeutic and practical activity. Items needed for the gardens include:

  • Gardening tools
  • Bird feeders
  • Plants and flower pots for gardens
  • Home Depot gift cards

Donations can be dropped off or mailed to:
