CLUBWAKA South Florida announced that registration is open for Thursday night coed ultimate Frisbee.
Started in 1998 as the World Adult Kickball Association (WAKA), today’s CLUBWAKA is a U.S. social club providing adult sports leagues, social activities and events. Ultimate Frisbee is new to CLUBWAKA’s winter leagues.
The ultimate Frisbee league starts January 19, for all skill levels.
Games are Thursdays from 7 p.m.to 10 p.m., at Pioneer Park, at 217 NE 5th Ave., Deerfield Beach.
The cost to join is $59 each player, for a six-week session (including an end-of-season tournament).
Having no ultimate Frisbee skills isn’t a problem, according to CLUBWAKA.
“This is a social league before anything else! It’s built on fun!” according to the website.
