Eating out never looked so good or so affordable
This is the best time of year to get out and try new restaurants, or visit old favorites. While you should make reservations when possible, you can also walk into a lot of places and be seated pretty quickly. No snowbirds. So get on out, save money and enjoy!

Miami Spice: 15th year for great prix-fixe lunches, dinners
This will be the 15th year for the popular two-month eating frenzy called Miami Spice. From Aug. 1 to Sept. 30, with 244 restaurants participating all around Miami and Miami Beach, you can eat lunch for $23 or dinner for $39, and that means food prepared by some world-class chefs.
Make a list of the places you’ve always wanted to try, and check the list of restaurants here. I would recommend making reservations, and then just chow down.
Some familiar restaurant names participating: Fontainebleau, Traymore, KLIMA (fennel carpaccio pictured), Seaspice, Los Fuegos, Pao, Bagatelle, Quinto la Huella, Bistro One LR, Byblos, Prime Fish, Neomi’s Grill, Talde Miami Beach, Thyme, Bizcaya, Bulla Gastrobar, Red Fish Grill, Shula’s 347 Grill, Azul, Beaker & Gray, Farfalle, Komodo, Zuma and many, many more. So many eateries, so little time!
