On Jan. 31, the 5-year-old Sybarite Pig in west Boca Raton will close its doors. Chef/owner Daniel Naumko (pictured) is focusing on his passion project, Odd Breed Wild Ales, in Pompano Beach. But the housemade sausages, meats, pork belly burgers and other great dishes will not follow, as the new venue isn’t planning to have a kitchen. Food can be brought in, or you can order from surrounding restaurants. Naumko and his partner, Matt Manthe, are now open ThursdaySunday nights, with a lot more attractions to follow there. This is a taproom specializing in housemade “mixed culture fermentation in oak barrels,” brewed at other local breweries and brought in for tastings. So far customers are loving it. But Sybarite Pig, we will miss you!
