Celebrate Earth Day at These Palm Beach County Restaurants

Harvest Seasonal features Impossible Burger, tote

The Impossible Burger now on the menu at Harvest Seasonal Grill & Wine Bar is called that because you won’t believe it’s meatless. Made from a naturally occurring, iron-containing molecule called heme, it’s served with lettuce, tomato and red onion on a vegan roll. Along with that, on April 22, you’ll receive a reusable Harvest tote bag as a thank you for supporting their green mission. 1841 S. Federal Highway, Delray Beach; 561/266-3239; harvestseasonalgrill.com/delray-beach-restaurant/

Square One’s salmon on sale for Earth Day

The pan-roasted Sixty South salmon at the new Square One will be just $22 on Earth Day, April 22. Along with the Atlantic salmon, the dish has fregula “risotto”, English peas, leek confit, horseradish and white wine sauce. Regular price is $27. 2222 Glades Road, Boca Raton; 561/923-9176; squareonerestaurants.com

BurgerFi has deals on two meatless burgers, free plantable coaster

VegeFi + Beyond Burger 2018On April 22, official Earth Day, all BurgerFi locations are offering $5 VegeFi burgers and $5 Beyond burgers. The VegeFi has quinoa and veggie burger, white cheddar cheese, and the Beyond is a plant-based burger that looks and cooks like beef. This one can be eaten vegan with no cheese and a vegan bun is available.

Along with your burger that day, you’ll receive a free “plantable burger” coaster that you plant to grow lettuce and tomato (the seeds are in the coaster). So you can have a meal and grow your own later. Just mention the coaster while you’re there.
